Antenna Testing and Homologation Laboratory (LEHA)

The Antenna Testing and Approval Laboratory (Laboratorio de Ensayos y Homologación de Antenas: LEHA) has been working in antenna measurement since 1980, for industrial activities, research and educational purposes, and it is part of the radiation group of the UPM¿s Signals, Systems and Radiocommunications (SSR) Department. LEHA¿s quality director is Prof. Manuel Sierra Castañer and

AI Image Analysis platform

Platform for the analysis of images using artificial intelligence methods. It has a high image-processing, computation and storage capacity.

Platform for monitoring and stimulation of functional activity

The platform has functional activity monitoring kits with different sensors and wearables, some of them manufactured in-house, such as a functional loss simulator and sensors for standing up, walking speed and lower extremity power. The infrastructure also has a 3D printer, with which the sensors can be manufactured.

AI platform for descriptive and prescriptive analysis of clinical data

Platform with the capacity to process and analyse data from a statistical perspective, and also to apply machine learning approaches, at descriptive and predictive levels, to large volumes of clinical data. It makes use of high-performance servers to build and train models based on the application of artificial intelligence algorithms.

Nanorobotics equipment

It allows movement to be induced in magnetic nanoparticles, in order to cause damage to the cell in which they are internalised and thus destroy it. Its largest component is a permanent magnet, which provides an area of approximately 50 x 50 x 20 cm and has a homogeneously distributed magnetic field with an intensity
