Description
Cell culture unit equipped to carry out experiments involving different models of cell lines of animal origin, including cell lines of human origin. The unit consists of a biosafety level 1 (BSL-1) laboratory, a biosafety level 2 (BSL-2) laboratory and a shared washing and sterilisation area. The BSL-1 laboratory consists of: A TELSTAR laminar-flow cabinet, three Thermo CO2 incubators with an infrared sensor and an 80-litre water jacket, and a Lab-Line CO2 incubator for maintaining cell cultures. An absorbance plate reader. A Hettich Rotina refrigerated centrifuge. A freezer capable of temperatures down to -80°C. A fridge with a temperature range from -4 to 20°C. Two Nuaire class II vertical laminar-flow cabinets. The BSL-2 laboratory consists of: A Nuaire class II laminar-flow cabinet. A Thermo Scientific 3111 Water Jacket CO2 incubator with an 80-litre water jacket. A HERMLE Z306 centrifuge. An Olympus IX71 optical microscope.

Frequently asked question
Can I put my facility in the catalogue?
Yes, if you are from one of the EELISA member, you can log in and create a page for your facility. It will be then validated by a dedicated person at your institution and published. You can edit it at any time.

What happens when I am contacted?
The catalogue is meant to get in touch and start scientific discussion. There is no obligation to accept the collaboration.

Whom to contact if I would like to get more information about the catalogue ?
Each insitution has at least one contact :

I am from UPM, may I publish on the catalogue?
As UPM has its own local catalogue ( ), you first need to publish your facility on the UPM catalogue and then it will be transferred to the EELISA catalogue with no further action from your side.
